Biography
I completed my PhD in geochemistry at Stanford University and studied in Professor Terry Seward’s laboratory at the ETH Zurich as a postdoctoral fellow. Since 2008 I have worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Earth Sciences here at the University of Hong Kong where we have established a new ion resonance mass spectrometry laboratory for cluster studies in the Earth Sciences. My research interests range from topics of ion clustering and solvation, molecular geochemistry to themes associated with the origins of life.
