Dr Lam, Kam Ki Stanley 林錦祺
Dr. Stanley Lam is currently a Research Assistant Professor at the School of Nursing, the University of Hong Kong. Dr. Lam received his Bachelor of Nursing and Master of Nursing from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Doctor of Philosophy from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His research interests stem from his clinical experiences as an emergency nurse and have become increasingly focused on establishing frontline healthcare professionals’ preparedness for large-scale public health emergencies, particularly on infectious disease outbreaks. Considering the intense challenges of mental health issues towards global health, much of his recent research has sought to address the effectiveness and relevance of various interventions on enhancing mental health and mental health literacy among nursing students, healthcare professionals, and the general population. These research efforts are united by the goal of informing public health decision-making.
