AbstractPURPOSE/OBJECTIVE: Neoplasms in children MATERIALS AND METHODS: We reviewed our local pediatric brain tumors database obtained prospectively since 1994. Two sets of standard data entry sheet (1994-1999 & 1999-2011) had been used and data entry was performed by data managers. It was crosschecked with the Hong Kong Cancer Registry which collected all local pathology reports of cancer. RESULTS: From Jan 1994 to Dec 2011 (18 yrs), a total of 504 cases of childhood brain tumors were diagnosed. 51/504 (10%) are children CONCLUSIONS: In our Chinese children population, the 4 commonest brain tumors found in older children were also more common in our patients
