AbstractEpoxy and aziridinyl enolsilanes react as dienophiles in intramolecular (4+3) cycloadditions with typically challenging dienes such as pyrroles, thiophenes and benzenes. They also react as enophiles in intramolecular (3+2) reactions with dienes and alkenes. The reactions proceed through activated epoxides and aziridines as intermediates and therefore the cycloadducts can be obtained with high ee.
