AbstractThis paper is concerned with the derivation of the Green's functions for an infinite three-dimensional transversely isotropic magnetoelectroelastic solid. Based on the potential theory, a system of inhomogeneous partial differential equations for five potential functions is obtained. Then, this system is solved separately for axiymmetric and skew-symmetric point loadings utilizing the technique presented by Hanson, which allows us to obtain the closed-form solution of each potential function, Finally, the Green's functions are given in explicit form. The present results are convenient for many applications.
