AbstractSOX9 is a transcription factor involved in development and disease. To better understand the role of SOX9, chromatin immunoprecipitation and computational analyses have been used to identify genes likely to be regulated by SOX9. Cross genome comparisons to identify conserved non-coding sequences and regulatory signals have been used.
