1 To examine the extent to which legal definitions of privacy, regulatory policies and disclosure practices are aligned with the conceptualisation of privacy among Hong Kong youth and their everyday online social practices and interactions; 2 To analyse the extent to which existing law on personal data and privacy, and Terms of Service has reflected the complexity of the range of personal data and disclosure practices among the young; 3 To provide an informed and critical review of the legal, techno-regulatory and socio-educational actions that aim to protect online privacy and prevent cyberbullying; and 4 To contribute to digital media policy and develop a digital and a personal data literacy framework for youths.
