Objectives
1. To establish a digital workflow, for semi-compliant grid mechanisms, including architectural design, kinetic simulation and structural analysis. 2. To create an analytical morphology of kinetic grids dependent on their geometric and mechanical parameters, to inform architectural applications, their feasibility and stability. 3. To design and build two real-scale prototypes, in order to develop constructive solutions, verify our theoretical insights and test mechanical and structural properties.
