1. To characterize the selected compounds for its effect on DHHC-mediated acylation of SARS-CoV2-spike and influenza A virus -hemagglutinin proteins. 2. To identify new antiviral inhibitors which block the acylation of the viral spike and/orhemagglutinin proteins thus reduce virus replication.
