Dr Hui, Hannah Xiaoyan 惠晓艷
Dr. Hannah Xiaoyan Hui obtained her Bachelor Degree in Biotechnology from Shanghai Jiaotong University and completed her PhD study in Shanghai Institute of Biological Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences (SIBS, CAS). She then received her postdoctoral training at Division Endocrinology, Department of Medicine, the University of Hong Kong. Her major research interest lies on adipose tissue, from molecular basis of adipose tissue remodeling, its physiological relevance in the context of obesity and cardio-metabolic diseases, to pharmacological strategies to reprogramme adipose tissues. Her research work has been published in several top-ranked journals including Cell Metabolism.
