Abstract | The scattering of a plane wave from a periodic randomly rough dielectric surface exhibiting an electrically large period is examined. A novel method is employed in locating convergent forms of otherwise non-convergent series. With this method, the solution is fast and minimal storage is required, in addition, surface roughnesses of the order of a wavelength are solved. To determine the efficiency of this method, this was implemented on a Cray YMP, and within 20 seconds considerable results were achieved. |
