AbstractThis paper aims to examine relevant studies, and look into the possible impacts of using Social Network Sites (SNSs) for dialogue construction in teaching and learning. Characteristics of educational dialogues were discussed and connected to features of SNS. The analysis shows that SNSs have the potential to facilitate dialogic construction in classroom and impact assessment and learning in a positive way. This work will be beneficial to direct future empirical studies of SNSs integration in educational settings.
