Abstract | This paper showcases a hand-held all-in-one integrated device for continuous generation and optical detection/analysis of droplet 'trains' containing up to four different sample/reagent droplets in each train. Combined with an ability to collect one or more samples directly from a sampling site (e.g. bodily fluids), this means the device is capable of performing multiplexed or multiple step assays continuously at the point-of-care. |
