AbstractThis paper reports a novel droplet microfluidic based chemical sensor device capable of monitoring water chemistry in rivers, lakes and oceans. The device features small footprint, low reagent and energy consumption, and can provide high frequency and accurate measurement with continuous internal calibrations.
