This Teaching Development Grant (TDG) proposal focuses on resolving some of the issues identified in the HKUSLEQ engineering faculty report by building a community of engineering education practitioners and researchers at HKU to share good practices in engineering education. The proposal will also embrace the recommendation from the Quality Assurance Council report 2009. This proposal will act as the seed for the development of a larger engineering education community in Hong Kong and in Asia.
