1) To review the existing infrastructure asset management practices and their weaknesses; 2) To formulate an information and analytical framework for inter-network infrastructure asset appraisal, failure prediction and post-incident reconciliation; 3) To identify a suitable unified data regime for capturing, transforming and exchanging infrastructure asset data from diverse sources; 4) To design a system architecture based on the big data concept, unified data regime and information and analytical framework; 5) To develop a prototype agile big data centered inter-network infrastructure asset management (ABIN-IAM) platform; 6) To validate the information and analytical framework, unified data exchange regime, system architecture and prototype ABIN-IAM platform.
