Objectives
1 To test a theoretical model that relates coworker voice to employee voice for the first time. 2 To unravel the psychological process of how coworker voice is contagious in affecting employee voice by examining psychological agreement and voice self-efficacy as mediators. 3 To further unravel the psychological process of how coworker voice is contagious in affecting employee voice by examining perceived peer competition and perceived voice instrumentality as mediators. 4 To examine social exchange with coworkers, the supervisor, and the organization simultaneously as boundary conditions affecting the degree of voice contagion effects. 5 To illustrate dynamic effects by investigating how changes in coworker voice are related to changes in employee voice over time.
