1. To explore how well preschool children's early, partial knowledge of multi-digit numbers and place-value concept acquired in everyday life predicts their numerical performance in elementary school. 3. To explore which kinds of everyday activities or events are beneficial to young children’s development of early knowledge of multi-digit numbers and place-value concept prior to formal schooling.
