Objectives
1 To validate the dysfunction of adaptive thermogenic response in TLR5-deficient mice; 2 To elucidate the molecular mechanism of how UCP1 expression is regulated by TLR5 in thermogenic adipocytes; and 3 To examine whether TLR5 in adipose tissue macrophages indirectly influence adaptive thermogenesis.
