Objectives
Below is a summary of the outcomes of the Proposed Public Trial Project: 1. To deploy CGDB at DH-CGS. This will require redesigning CGDB's storage for clinical data so that it would be compatible with the existing clinical information system, as well as integrating CGDB with DH-CGS's current bioinformatics system. 2. To understand the clinical workflow of using NGS in the diagnosis of genetic diseases cases and modify and strengthen CGDB's querying capability and/or biomedical database support to cater for the requirements identified from DH-CGS. 3. To demonstrate the application of real-time analytics to supporting machine learning-based prediction. This will include setting up a machine learning platform inside CGDB. 4. To sequence, via outsourcing, approximately two hundred samples at the WES (or higher) level, such genome data together with DH-CGS existing data.
