Objectives
1. To develop techniques for a joint exploitation of optical and SAR data using manifold learning methods; 2. To test and train deep learning networks and estimate the urban impervious surfaces from the above mentioned joint optical and radar data; 3. To perform a temporal consistency check over the time series of impervious surfaces extents in the Pearl River Delta (PRD); 4. To model the inter- and intra-annual dynamics in the PRD region using time series data analysis techniques.
