Objectives
1. Develop high throughput synthesis method for active functional materials 2. Understand active nanorobot propulsion mechanism and optimize energy conversion efficiency 3. Develop photochemistry based nanorobot communication method to establish effective swarm-bots with novel thermal, mechanical, and optical properties 4. Develop computational algorithms to help understand and predict the active material structure-function relationship 5. Explore the developed programmable light-powered active material systems for novel applications, including active heat dissipation fluid, and color-shifting materials.
