Objectives
Hong Kong has entered its fifth wave of COVID-19 and is at risk of a sixth wave/exit wave. Vaccine hesitancy among vulnerable groups (e.g. older adults) and pandemic fatigue continue to pose grave threats to Hong Kong's population health. We aim to provide real-time nowcasting in the general population on vaccine hesitancy for boosters and vaccines for new variants; to nowcast preventive behaviours and pandemic fatigue during the transition from zero COVID-19 to sustainable endemicity, to monitor population well-being to inform public policies.
