Objectives
To gain information on the sensitivity of embryonic tissues at different stages of organogenesis to carcinogenic effects of urethane; to apply the proposal of Snell for use of developmental enzyme anomalies as sensitive indicators of latent toxicological injury to the embryo or foetus; and to employ Weber's ""molecular correlation"" and ""key enzyme"" concepts of neoplasia to select appropriate enzyme markers for monitoring the developmental arrest or malignant transformation of foetal tissues.
