Objectives
1. My objectives are straightforward: to carry out original research in a cutting-edge area of intellectual enquiry, to publish two articles based on this in leading international peer-reviewed law journals, and to disseminate as widely as possible my findings. In more detail: 2. To carry out intensive desk-based research to maintain a fully up-to-date knowledge of the literature in the area of law and technology. 3. To assess this literature in light of the theoretical insights available in jurisprudential scholarship including theories of legal responsibility, the rule of law, and transparency. 4. To discuss these issues with colleagues in cognate studies in Hong Kong and internationally. 5. To travel to leading research centres in the UK (Oxford, London, and Edinburgh) to discuss the themes of the project and get feedback on my own analyses. 6. To disseminate my research through seminar and conference presentations. 7. To draft and publish my research as articles to be submitted to internationally leading law journals
