Objectives
To develop second-generation NADPH and NADH/NAD+ biosensors (mCherry-iNAPs/SoNar) for in planta application.To introduce the novel pyruvate biosensors (PyronicSF and Dead-PyronicSF) to Arabidopsis for in planta application.To prepare plant cell atlases to visualize the ATP, NADPH, NADH/NAD+ ratio, and pyruvate pools in different subcellular compartments and plant organs and examine their dynamic changes under various experimental conditions4. To study photosynthesis of the Arabidopsis bundle sheath cells and compare with that of mesophyll cells using the novel sensors developed in this project.
