Objectives
Recent experiement results from us suggest synoymous mutations in viral genome (e.g. incread CpG frequency in influenza A virus genome) significantly attenuated viral fitness, however knowledge on the respective effects caused by two genomic compositional biases, i.e. condon pair bias and dinucleotide bias, is currently limited. Distinguishing and quantifying the effects from these two factors can greatly promote understandings on virus-host interaction and faciliate vaccine design.
