Objectives
1. To identify components constituting STEM literacy in Hong Kong; 2. To establish a performance expectation framework for guiding STEM education at each key learning stage, ranging from key stage 1 (primary 1-3), 2 (primary 4-6), 3 (secondary 1-3) to 4 (secondary 4-6); 3. To identify good practices of STEM education in Hong Kong and measures for supporting students to attain performance expectations of STEM education; and 4. To develop an initial set of policy options for fostering STEM literacy among primary and secondary school students in Hong Kong.
