Objectives
Active application of micromotion to the fracture site at a specific healing stage has beenproved to promote the callus formation, thus significantly shortening the healing time, andgreatly reducing the failure rate of treatment. However, the effective parameters of thisbiomechanical stimulus are still unclear. This project uses the small animal model and thespecial experimental device developed in the early stage to optimize the parameters ofmicromotion to promote fracture healing and carries out product development through thecooperation between the universities and companies. This project aims to design a novelmicromotion external fixation device with independent intellectual property rights and topromote the development of the high-end medical device manufacturing industry inGuangdong and Hong Kong.
