Objectives
To develop a tool and apply it to optimize spatial arrangement of lands, targeting lower urban warming, air pollution and human exposure to these risk factors;  To develop a better urban coupled climate-chemistry modeling tool, with improvements in secondary aerosol formation from urban sources, and apply it to assess climate and air quality co-benefits of optimized arrangements of lands; To gain a better understanding of how exposure to urban climate and air pollution affects birth outcomes, and to assess health co-benefits of optimized arrangements of lands.
