Objectives
1. To identify the listening problems faced by university students in their secondarytertiary transition2. To examine the listening strategies used by students in comprehending the teacher input in EMI tertiary education3. To construct and validate a questionnaire that can be used to measure students' listening problems and strategy use in EMI education4. To compare the listening problems and strategies used by university students who had EMI and CMI secondary education background5. To explore the changes to the listening problems and strategies used by EMI and CMI students in their first year of tertiary education6. To analyse the relationships among a range of variables including students’ English proficiency, academic discipline, academic vocabulary, academic performance, educational background, listening problems and strategies used
