Objectives
Accelerated atherosclerosis and hyperlipidaemia are common in patients with chronic renal failure treated with continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis. This accelerated atherosclerosis is a major factor in their increased morbidity and mortality. This study tests the safety and efficacy of treatment of the hyperlipidaemia.
