Objectives
To conduct germ line mutation analysis of the MEN1 gene in 11 Chinese families with multiple endocrine neoplasia type 1 (MEN1); to investigate the pathogenesis of the MEN1 tumours by means of somatic mutation analysis of the MEN1 gnee and loss of heterozygosity (LOH) studies; to determine whether there is any genotype- phenotype correlation in these MEN1 families.
