Dr Chow, Lok Wan Loraine 鄒樂韻
Dr. Loraine Chow graduated from the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, the University of Hong Kong with MBBS degree in 2012. She then joined the Department of Ophthalmology, the University of Hong Kong from 2013 to 2014. From 2015-2019, she joined the Hong Kong West Cluster under the Hospital Authority which she completed her ophthalmology residency and training in Oculoplastics and obtained her fellowship with the College of Ophthalmologists of Hong Kong in 2019. She re-joined HKU in July 2020 as Clinical Assistant Professor at the Department of Ophthalmology which she is heavily involved in her researches and undergraduate teachings. Her main areas of research include oculoplastic related surgeries, orbital and adnexal diseases, lacrimal surgeries, dry eye related diseases, periorbital rejuvenation and autoimmune related ophthalmic manifestations. Dr. Chow is a council member of the Hong Kong Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, welfare subcommittee member of the Hong Kong Ophthalmological Society, Admissions Advisor of the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine and the Vice president of the Hong Kong Women Doctors’ Association.
