Commentary on Selected Critical Issues in Outer Space Law

Abstract

Great achievements have been in exploration and exploitation of outer space sinc e 1957. The trend of space commercialization and privatization brings about dras tic changes in space activities. As such, many legal issues arise, needing urgen t resolution. This paper picks up several important legal issues for a brief dis cussion and expects further in-depth analysis in future space law research. The legal issues include space legislation, space property, peaceful use of outer s pace, space tourism, space environment, space cooperation, and space financing.

隨著航天技術的突飛猛進,人類在探索和利用外空方面取得了重大進展。在商業化和私有化的大背景之下,外空活動已經發生了根本性的變革,幾乎可以將現有發生的外空法的新發展都納入該框架之內。隨之而來的就是許多新的法律問題,亟待研究和解決。就此,文章選擇近年來的一些外空熱點問題作出簡略的評述,以期在將來外空法的研究中能進一步深入展開。這些熱點問題包括外空立法、外空產權、和平利用外空、外空旅遊、外空環境、外空區域合作、外空融資等。
