Abstract | BACKGROUND: LV mechanical dyssynchrony can lead to impairment of LV function and is associated with adverse clinical outcomes in CAD patients. METHOD: We performed echocardiographic examination with tissue Doppler imaging and exercise treadmill testing in 151 consecutive CAD patients with QRS duration <120ms. LV intra- and inter-ventricular dyssynchrony were defined by the standard deviation of time interval between LV six basal segments (Is-SD), and the time interval from right ventricular (RV) free wall to LV lateral wall (Is-RV) respectively and EC measured as metabolic equicalents (METs). … |
