Abstract近代廣東番禺學者徐棨著有《詞通》與《詞律箋榷》二書,詹安泰、龍榆生兩位詞學家極為推崇,但尚未引起當今研究者的足夠重視。本文在考察徐棨家世的基礎上,評述其《詞通》在詞學上的諸多貢獻,認為《詞通》已具備詞學通論類著作的雛形,就討論問題之細部而言,自有其慧眼獨具的精到之處,具有很高的學術參考價值。龍榆生和詹安泰都用'精審'二字來評價徐棨的詞學成就,此后吳梅、詹安泰等人的詞學著作皆受其影響。
