AbstractThe present anterograde HRP study indicated that the uncrossed retinal projection to the superior colliculus in both normal hamsters and hamsters with one eye enucleated at birth was more extensive than previously reported. In addition, a small retinal projection to the contralateral inferior colliculus was also observed in all animals studied.
