AbstractNasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is strongly associated with Epstein-Barr virus (EBV). We examined the in vitro and in vivo effects of suberoylanilide hydroxamic acid (SAHA), a FDA-approved histone deacetylase inhibitor, on EBV lytic cycle induction in NPC and investigated the cellular consequences.
