Abstract | PURPOSE: The 'Reinvestment Scale' (RS) measures an individual's propensity to consciously monitor and control movements. A high propensity is associated with movement disruption under stress. In sports recently, a movement specific Reinvestment Scale (MSRS) has been developed, which consists of subscales related to conscious motor processing and movement self-consciousness. The scale has potential for use in rehabilitation settings.
