Abstract | As an important demographic phenomenon, migration has been paid by great attention in academia. However, since the Ravenstein's works as the cornerstone of modern migration theories, the factors which could trigger the migration mainly focus on social and economic aspects. There is little research on the role of natural factors, especially climate change in driving the migration through human history.
