AbstractThis paper documents some basic facts about the culture of goldfish in Hong Kong as an informal industry in which knowledge is transmitted by human relations and developed by trial and error. This information concerns natural outdoor breeding and rearing of three varieties of goldfish in sub-tropical Hong Kong.
