AbstractPhosphopeptides in a complex mixture were identified using conventional triple quadrupole neutral loss or precursor ion scan. The partial sequences and sites of phosphorylation of the identified phosphopeptides were consecutively probed by low collision energies. All the tryptic digests were dissolved in water and diluted to 430 fmol/mL. The partial sequences and sites of phosphorlylation of the identified phosphopeptides were also probed by the mascot research.
