AbstractTwin-twin transfusion syndrome permits investigation of vascular programming independent of genetic influence. Arterial distensibiity was lower in the donor twin during infancy, implying the intrauterine vascular remodelling might result in raised cardiac afterload and could influence later cardiovascular health.
