AbstractTwo patients with a group C Streptococcus (S. zooepidemicus) infection of the abdominal aorta associated with an aneurysm are reported. Clinical infection by this organism is extremely rare and this report documents the first two proven patients with aortic infection by this organism. One patient was successfully treated.
