TitleBerry phase effect on exciton transport and bose einstein condensate

Issue Date2009

AbstractFor excitons in semiconductors, a gauge structure intrinsic to the wavefunction leads to spin-dependent topological transport. When sufficiently large number of excitons have condensed, a nonrotating Bose-Einstein condensate may become unstable against vortex formation [1]. ©2009 Optical Society of America.
