Abstract | FBXO31 is a DNA-damage responsive F-box protein, found to be down-regulated in breast and hepatocellular carcinoma but up-regulated in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. The role of FBXO31 in carcinogenesis is not fully determined. Mitogen activated protein kinases (MAPKs) play pivotal role in cellular response to diverse stresses, and are involved in regulating cell proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis.
