Abstract | Secondary haemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis is a rare but fatal complication of tuberculosis. We describe two cases, and review the local and international experience on the management of this clinical entity. Prompt treatment with anti-tuberculous drugs forms the cornerstone of therapeutic success. |
