Abstract | INTRODUCTION AND PURPOSE: Laribacter hongkongensis is a Gram-negative, urease-positive bacillus associated with invasive bacteremic infections in liver cirrhosis patients and fish-borne community- acquired gastroenteritis and traveler’s diarrhea (1-2).
