Abstract | The two underactuated mechanical kinematic designs for miniature climbing robots are discussed. The designs incorporate fewer actuators and reduces the weight of the robot. The speed of the designs are limited by the delay in the control of the suction cups. They are amenable to reduction in size and increase in speed. |
